What we collect
When you run a report: the listing text, VIN, and vehicle details you submit, plus standard technical data (referrer, timestamps). When you fill in a form: the email address and content you give us (cost submissions, stories, invoice files, consult requests, packet orders). Chat questions on reports are stored to improve the product.
How we use it
To build your report, fulfill anything you ordered, follow up when you asked us to, and improve the cost database. Owner submissions are reviewed by a human before any part of them is published, and published data is aggregated and anonymized (a cost figure and sample size, never your name or invoice). Personal details on invoices are redacted during review.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t publish submissions automatically. We don’t email you unless you gave us your address for that purpose, and every email includes a way out.
Who else touches the data
Our infrastructure providers: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), and Anthropic (the AI that powers report drafting and chat; listing text and chat messages are processed to generate responses). Public vehicle data comes from NHTSA.

Want your data corrected or deleted? Email us and we’ll handle it: reply to any email we’ve sent you, or use the consult form on any report and mention it’s a privacy request.
